Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone(born in January 5th 1986) is an Indian model turned actress.   Deepika Padukone is daughter of former world badminton champion Prakash Padukone and mother Ujyala Padukone. Born in Copenhagen,Denmark, at eleven months old she moved to Mangalore,Karnataka when her family returned to India.

Deepika Padukone looks a national
athlet with height of 5ft 9 inches. Her child hood in Bangalore. She did her schooling from Sophia's High School, Bangalore and completed her under graduate program from Mount Carmel College.

Deepika Padukone entered the international scenario with her first camp with Meybelline,one of the most renowned cosmetic brand. Deepika Padukone was associated with the glamour world from the very child hood and has appeared in various advertisement campaign including that of Close-Up, Liril and so on.  She also played badminton at the state level like her father.

Her acting debut in 2006 as the titular character of the Kannada film Aishwarya .  Her first Bollywood film released on the 2007 blockbuster Om Shani Om and won a Filmfare Award for Best female debut. Her last released film is a comedy-drama Piku(2015).
